Just north of Orlando and easy access from anywhere is our wonderful town of Mount Dora.  Situated on the eastern banks of Lake Dora you'll find that small town charm and relaxing atmosphere that keeps people coming back for more!

Start with a morning of shopping downtown.  Unique gift shops, art galleries, fashion boutiques and antique shops are all within walking distance.

Mount Dora offers many fun and relaxing activities everyday such as boat rides on the lake, fishing, and bird watching on the Palm Island Nature Walk.  Or perhaps a round of golf at one of many championship courses in the area.  A quiet afternoon at the lake, a trolley or train ride, evening dining at one of downtown's luscious restaurants, followed by music, dancing, a carriage ride or even a play at the Ice House Theatre.

Mount Dora is known as the "Festival City" and there's always something happening!  Check out the Mount Dora Chamber of Commerce, the Mount Dora Merchants Association  and the Center for the Arts for more information.
